I. International roman bow tournament
The Legio VI Castellum Morans invites you on a journey through time and target:
At the first International Roman Archery Tournament along the historic Via Claudia, archers of all levels will compete in a sporting and ancient contest.
The day begins between 09:00 and 09:45 with registration and group formation, before the strings are tightened and the arrows released at 10:00. Competitors demonstrate their skills until 13:30, divided into different bow classes:
- Children's Class (born 2013 and younger)
- Primitive Bow
- Longbow
- Recurve
- Compound ... all divided into men's and women's classes
After a short break, the prize-giving ceremony takes place at 14:00, where not only the class winners (places I-III), but also the winners of the day and special performances are honoured with special prizes.
