Gaby is fed up with her husband and has gone to stay with her girlfriend in Mallorca. She's always looking over her shoulder at Peter, who won't even shake her hand. She gives him an ultimatum: he must learn how to run a household or she will file for divorce. Elfriede, Gaby's mother, finds this a real treat and wants nothing more than for Peter and Gaby to split up. Olaf, Peter's best friend, naturally tries to help him, which isn't easy when Diana, the beautiful neighbour, turns up at Peter's house in her underwear because she's locked herself out. The chaos is almost perfect when the overprotective neighbour Ella hires an exterminator because she has heard that vermin have taken up residence at the Maurers'...
