Starting point: Schönjochbahn top station 
Character: The Source Trail suitable for buggies takes you on a high altitude hike in the alpine zone from the airy heights of the Fisser Joch ridge gently downhill to Komperdell and on to Serfaus. You can follow the trail in either direction.
Walking time: from Fisser Joch approx. 2 hours, from Komperdell appric, 2½  hours

Description: If you are naturally inquisitive you can trace the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis spring-waters to their sources. There are several information points where you can enjoy finding out about the water on the high plateau. At every station there are information panels and options for taking a relaxing break. The “wave loungers” in the avalanche protection barriers are definitely a highlight of the themed trail. While in winter they disrupt the concentrated power of an avalanche, in summer they invite hikers on the Source Trail to stop and relax. There’s a lot to see, discover and experience along the Source Trail. There’s no chance for boredom in the Tyrolean mountains!
